Chaos Scar

Anyone else running any of these? I placed the setting in western Sterich, near the mountain, a little north of the Davish headwaters. I'm already dropping clues to the players about the meteor, which caused the Chaos Scar, being an elder evil that is bent on heralding the release of Tharizdun. That's going to be the overarching plot, although now I've got them in an unrelated plot, trying to recover a staff for a mage guild, which agents of the Vermillion Queen also want recovered.

I'm running a game in the former lands of the Great Kingdom.

I have the Chaos Scar just north of Innspa, formerlly Almor now Ahlissia.

The characters are musicians who do mercenary work on the side. Their real mission is for the king of nyrond, to aid commonfolk and preserve magical and historical lore in the former lands of the Great Kingdom.

I may have another scar near Jalpa and a larger one in Rauxes, to link it into the chaos that happened there.

Some of the baddies I replace with local cults of Hextor and Wee Jas.

Multiple chaos scars. I like it! Sounds like an interesting game.

Was there info published on the Chaos Scar, or was this just used during D&D Encounters? I haven't had any access to the Encounters scenarios.

The Chaos Scar adventures were released in Dungeon magazines 171-174, with 2 adventures per magazine.

The chaos scar can be inserted into any environment, then you link the adventures to that location.
