Greetings!
I have been playing D&D since 1980 but that doesn't mean I am very good at it. I have been playing with my current group in a 1e/2e World created by my friends. Sometimes we play D&D, sometimes we play Warhammer and sometimes (like today) we play D&D Hammer.
I love the Greyhawk setting. I bought the folio when I saw it at K&B Hobbies in the mall early in 1981. I haven't played all that much in Greyhawk. I DM'd the Isle of Dread and played a few other games in Greyhawk but that's about it. I would like to play in Gary's world more in the future.
I have always enjoyed reading fantasy like Lieber, Zelazney, Farmer and of course Tolkien. More recently, I have been reading Jim Butcher and Patrick Rothfuss. My nickname comes from the most evil character known in Rothfuss' world Temmerant. I am currently participating in the annotated reading of the Gord novels with Jason Zavoda. Jason is great to study with. He has wealth of information and has been very kind.
I like the crafting part of D&D too. I have a FMD 3d printer for terrain and am expecting a SLA printer that I order to be delivered soon. I am also learning about hot wire foam cutters and double corrugated cardboard for terrain.
That's it about me in a nutshell. Oh, yeah, I work in IT as a sysadmin at a local University but I cant figure out how to delete a post (I did figure out how to edit one though =)) If you see me around, say hi and thanks for reading this.
