One of the overlooked aspects of what makes Greyhawk special is the vast amount of literary works that are made for the setting, everything from obscure spellbooks (Robert Mullin's Greyhawk Grimoire series in Dragon Magazine) to sagely texts found in the mod Vecna Lives or in Scott Casper's "Treasure Trove of Tomes" in Dragon 253. Even here at canonfire we have had contributed to the GH literature landscape with works such as GVD's "Literature in the Flanaess" series.
ghyle continues the fine tradition with this poem, which has a suitable mysteriousness to it. The text of the article reads like something one would find discussed at the Bard School in Greyhawk City. Ghyle also wisely gives the work an in-game use for DMs as a text on faeries making it a uniquely suited item to drop in anyone's campaign that will involve dealings with Sylvan races.
Definitely a worthy contribution. Well done, ghyle! I do enjoy reading this sort of thing, and frequently use such atmospheric details in my own campaigns. 'Tis a pity we of the mundane world lack the knowledge to compose the actual Lay itself.

I have, as it happens, just submitted my second article, inspired by the fact that the text discussed has the same title as the real world text that inspired it, a real world text that I am currently reading in the Popular Penguins edition.
