Regardless of your patron Power, I wanted to wish you all happy holidays from the Pacific NW. I am blessed with a wonderful family and have many of them with me now (namely parents, wife, and two kids). Recent events in our nation have shown the true face of wickedness and Evil, and that is only the good deeds and fellowship among Us that can dispel the darkness or keep it at bay (akin to the words of Gandalf). I thank you all for your continued acquaintanceship, and for some, I consider you to be Canonfire! friends.
Honorable mention to Argon, SirXaris, DLG, Illustr8or, and Smillan.
thank you ALL for making the Lanthorn a bit brighter,
A Merry Christmas and joyous gatherings with your family and friends from me and mine! The comraderie I have found on Canonfire! is one of my treasured assets.
I'm getting in right before the end of the day, but Merry Christmas to all.
We actually celebrate Christmas, Yule (twice-- once according to my wife's coven's schedule, and again according to my tribe's schedule), and Hanukkah on some years (if we visit my cousins). So far as I'm concerned, late December/early January is replete with celebrations, good cheer, feasting, and gifting!
Among other things, I am the proud owner of a map of Middle-Earth, thanks to my wife.
This will add to my small, but growing, collection of Middle-Earth prizes, including the One Ring (makes a great poker chip guard), Sting, broken shards of Narsil, and Legolas regalia.
2012 cannot end fast enough for my family (it's been a rough year to say the least, folks!). Happy New Year to all my Canonfire! colleagues. I hope that 2013 is a kinder, gentler year to us all!
