Hi all...posted on another thread but they wanted me to say hidyho over here on this thread as well.
Let see a little bout myself...im 47 pushin 48...been playin DnD since i was 16 yrs old...i hate 4E(chuckle) but i been an old school player all my life. Ran my players thru all the old tsr modules. I successfully got a player to 25th level and make demigod-hood(in a 7 year campaign)
Charater preferences...lets see...mostly mage and rogue types...did and still do have a paladin of Murlynd who uses firebrands(magickal pistols,yes...look it up lol)
My favorite character(s)..hmmm lets see...Dr. D.R.Murlynd would be first..followed by the members of the circle of eight with mordenkainen being my favorite amongst them.
I like most forms of sci fi....starwars first....then star trek...and farscape...and down the list of the top ones.
I am a member of the 501st/rebel legion charity costuming group. I used to do qui-gon...but i had to shave the beard and cut my hair for a new job(which sucked).
Anyway..thats my spiel...if ya wanna know anything else give me a hollar :P

Welcome to Canonfire! Kefrem! We're glad to make your acquaintance.
I just saw some pictures of some guys dressed as members of the 501st. They looked very authentic.
Feel free to join in with anything Greyhawk. More's the fun!

Welcome, Kefrem! Glad to have you!
We're always looking for more and "fresher" perspectives around here, so feel free to join in any conversation taking place. If you should choose to join in on an "older" conversation, however, please be sure to note that in your comment. It allows us "old fogies" to get our minds into the proper gear.
So again, welcome! We look forward to hearing what you have to say. _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html

Kefrem,
Rarely is it that a person introduces him/herself when one of our "greeters," namely Argon or SirXaris, doesn't almost instantly welcome them aboard. These dudes are good that way.
I don't think I caught it, but what system do you prefer?
You can also add to our growing list on the "Introduce Yourself" thread, if you like.

The system i prefer is 3.5...but 3.0 isnt much different so that works as well. Pretty much any 3.5 d20 system is in my bag of dm tricks as they would say.
So out of curiousity...do you folks run any kind of tabletop online stuff? id be interested in doin something...either dm'n it or playing in it.

Argon and Aeolius both run online campaigns and are frequently looking for new players. Check out the Campaign Journals & General Online Play forum for such threads.

There's also plenty o' reading on that site, including my own tales and those of SirXaris as well. Wolfling and Nerdcav have some good reads, too! I find that it's nice to read what others are doing for inspiration.

He's a very nice guy, and as interesting as his artwork would make you think he is :D _________________ Allan Grohe<br />https://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/greyhawk.html<br />https://grodog.blogspot.com/

One thing ive always liked bout original dnd...is most of the said artists/creators had player characters as well. Gygax had mordenkainen and a few others...as well as the other named toons like tenser(ernest, his son i think) and so on.

It's true, the game was "started" by . . . Gamers!
Sadly, the "Professionals" have taken over the business. _________________ Mystic's web page: http://melkot.com/mysticscholar/index.html
