on page 38 there is a chart. weapon types, general data and to hit adjustments. In this chart under length certain weapons have c. in front of the number. This is also in the UA chart. What does it mean?

Bizarrely enough, it apparently stands for "circa", or Latin for "about". So, the length of an "Axe, Battle" is "c. 4' ", or "about 4 feet." Most use circa for nothing but dates, namely the medjool variety, as in "That medjool date is HUGE! It must be circa three ounces at least!" Razz Laughing
