Looking for a particular Dragon magazine article

It came out prior to 3rd edition, I think.

It was an alignment article that suggested that lawful characters prioritize their loyalties, something like 1) self 2) family 3) country 4) party members. I was DMing some LE PCs at the time and it was useful to understand their motivations.

I remember using it in my campaigns back then, but damned if I can find it now.

The indices I've found seem to have tons of alignment articles in them, but not this one.

It's a quality article, one I remember enjoying when I first read it. I'm not sure I really agree with everything said (shocker - D&D folk disagreeing about alignments!) but I really think the concepts are very useful.
